Ward was the first baby born in MonroeLouisiana on 15 April, 1976. Ward was a student at Monroe Christian School, a Christian private school for children. In her secondary educationWard was a student at Ouachita Parish High School, but she relocated in River Oaks High School on the summer after her senior year. There she was on the dance and drill team. Following her graduation, she was a student at Northeast Louisiana University. Ward began modeling at the age of thirteen. She left school in order to relocate to New York. The beginning of her acting career came a few more years further down the line. The first time she was cast without credit in 1970s in the soap opera All My Children. Later, she was cast in the short-lived teen drama on NBC's prime time Malibu Shores. In the latter half of 1996Ward landed a role on the daytime soap-opera Sunset Beach where she portrayed the romantic Meg Cummings. In 1999, her movie career started when she starred as Brittany Foster (the psychotic Brittany Foster) in the erotic-thriller The In Crowd. This movie, which was at first a failure financially in the cinema, and later on video-on demand (VOD), became wildly well-known. Ward later played a pivotal supporting role in Shallow Hal, a hit film. Ward has also appeared in several other direct-to DVD films and has made guest appearances in various TV shows particularly Friends. The character as Chloe Kmet was hers in 2009 when she was the mother of a young woman on the ABC Family drama Make It or Break It. Her personal life includes a union with director David C. Robinson. They have one son named Cameron.
